here is what im proposing for the stat increase for weapon releases. You can deposit these stats points into any stat, exculding intellengence, to amplify your powers while in that mode. These numbers are based off what I have seen to be the GENERAL difference in the anime/manga. Let me know if they look pretty fair or not.


shinigami
Shikai: 20

Bankai: 80


arrancar
Res: 70

2nd Res: 100



vizard (+shikai n bankai)
Mask: 20 (stackable on bankai and shikai)

Viz res: 100



fullbringers
Primary: 20

Ascended: 80



quincy
Bow: 20

Just a couple of questions... Firstly, are the numbers accumulative? (Enter Shikai, gain a total of 20 points, enter Bankai, add another 80 to make 100, or does the 80 replace the 20 gained from the Shikai bonus?).

Secondly, I personally think that if the user has obtained Bankai, there Shikai should add a greater boost. To obtain Bankai, the Shikai, in general, is mastered. A mastered weapon is going to be stronger than an immature weapon, right?

To be frank, I think the proposed boosts are simply WAY too much. They make it essentially impossible for anyone to fight somebody who is released if they aren't released, and we've seen many times in the Bleach series that a bankai wielding shinigami gets a thorough stomping by an unreleased Arrancar.

I'd recommend that the maximum boost be 30 points (non accumulative with any first stage release) so as to keep things balanced and realistic to the series

to tell the truth the only bankai shinigami that loss to unreleased Arrancar was Ichigo

Harribel completely overpowered Hitsugaya in her unreleased state

Starrk was overpowering the vizard as well (true, they weren't using bankai but they were using shikai and their masks at the same time) and didn't release until Kyoraku was interfering

Most of the arrancar to date were actually overpowering their shinigami opponents without resorting to their resurreccion until they grew bored with the fights.

would the boosts allow a user to go past the level caps? Because not all boosts affect the strength of a character. In my case, if boosts were allowed, then my character wouldnt get a strength increase until bankai.

Tite kubo suggested the top 4 espada were vasto lorde arrancar
Vasto lorde are meant to be stronger than the average captain. The other Espada couldn't compare to the shinigami captains really. Hitsuguya's bankai isn't exactly mastered either, judging by how much it messes him up in comparison to say, senbonzakura kageyoshi. Heck, hitsuguya IS the weakest captain anyway, of course he'd be over powered by a competent espada. Starrk was the primera, so he was always going to be godly. I can't name an espada between 5-9 who would come close to a captain in bankai.

ok what im get, besides the useless argument over about arrancar beating shini or not, is that the stats seems way too much. now lets stick to the topic at hand here. I'll rewrite the numbers and see what i come up with. Make it alittle more fair (not sure if it will fall under 30 though marcus, i'll try to get it too though). And for the other question, No they are not accumulative. Only the vizards hollow mask will be accumulative. and yes they will be able to break caps, but only attack, defense and speed. stats CAN be added to magic but you can't break the caps because there is not real point to it.
